Terms and conditions
Last updated: 28 October 2026
1. Using Spellcart
These terms apply to merchants installing or using Spellcart and to visitors using its reward games. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind that business.
2. Operator and contact
Spellcart is published under XCC and operated by Alexander Laszlo James Barnett, a New Zealand sole trader. Contact support@spellcart.com or write to 27A Fourteenth Avenue, Tauranga 3112, New Zealand.
3. Accounts and store access
Provide accurate account and store information, keep access credentials secure, and connect only stores you are authorized to manage. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your campaign settings and your authorized users.
4. Plans, subscriptions and promotions
Your selected checkout or platform billing screen states your plan, currency, billing interval, price, trial and any promotional conditions. Recurring subscriptions renew according to those disclosed conditions until cancelled. A temporary discount ends as disclosed and the regular price then applies. Manage Wix subscriptions through Wix and direct subscriptions through the billing management provided for your account. Wix or the relevant payment provider may impose additional billing terms. Any refund entitlement is subject to the applicable purchase conditions and rights that cannot legally be excluded. Contact support for billing disputes.
5. Merchant rewards and shopper purchases
Merchants choose available reward rules, discount amounts, eligibility, minimum spend, expiry and usage limits. Merchants are responsible for reviewing those settings, making applicable offer conditions clear and honoring valid rewards. A reward is subject to its displayed conditions and store eligibility. It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash through Spellcart. Games do not require a separate payment or wager. Store purchases, fulfilment, returns and product disputes are handled by the merchant under its own terms. Spellcart is not the seller of the store's products.
6. Fair use and security
Do not automate or manipulate game actions, forge rewards, bypass limits, replay claims, access another merchant's information, interfere with the service or use it unlawfully. We may invalidate manipulated rewards and restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect the service or comply with law.
7. Availability, features and analytics
We work to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, errors and third-party outages can interrupt it. Features depend on your plan, platform and configuration. Analytics describe the records available to Spellcart; they do not guarantee incremental sales, recovered revenue or any particular business result. Review reward behavior on your store before promoting a campaign.
8. Privacy and intellectual property
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Merchants must provide appropriate notices and obtain permissions required for their own store and use of Spellcart. We and our licensors retain rights in the service, software and artwork. Your subscription permits use of the included features during the applicable access period; it does not transfer ownership. You retain rights to content you supply and permit us to use it as needed to operate the service for you.
9. Cancellation and access restrictions
You may stop using Spellcart and cancel through the applicable billing channel. Check that channel's confirmation for the effective cancellation date and remaining access. Uninstalling and subscription cancellation may be separate actions; verify subscription status with your billing provider. We may suspend or end access for material misuse, non-payment or security reasons. Contact support to resolve an error. Uninstalling does not automatically erase all records; see our privacy policy.
10. Responsibility and rights
Each party remains responsible for its own conduct and obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. Contact support promptly about a service problem so we can investigate and work toward a resolution.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes and will show the revised date. We will notify affected merchants of material changes through an appropriate service notice. Changes to price or subscription conditions will be disclosed through the applicable billing process.
